Judi Krew and I closed our studio/store in downtown Canton a month ago! Wow, how time flies. So what's been going on in the meantime. Judi is working hard on new fashion in her Hoard Couture line. Judi and I made an announcement this week that our store, Snarky Art & Journey Studios is closing Sept 30. We both said, (and forgive me Judi as this was a private conversation ;) ) "Now the shit will hit the fan."  I think I expected that people (as they are apt to do) would tell us we were wrong to close. They would suggest 50 other ideas that likely we had tried or dismissed because we have all the information needed to make a decision and others don't. I expected people would try to shame us for "letting down the community."...

Snarky Art and Journey Studios have some news to share….We are moving to the cloud!After years at both Second April Galerie and 431 4th St NW, Snarky Art and Journey Studios announce they are moving! We have tried using our beautiful corner space as an art gallery with a classroom and yoga studio, as working studio spaces, and as a fashion boutique with unique wearables. We've shown you beautiful art and one-of-a-kind fashions. We've thrown parties, offered classes, organized community projects and held lovely art exhibitions and fundraisers.But in the end, we find our walls and racks full... but our pockets......
